Welcome to my blog! I guess I should start by introducing myself! I'm Sarah, I'm currently 24 and a mom! And if you can't tell already, I'm kinda obsessed with health, but I didn't use to always be this way! In fact, I was quite the opposite! But I think, if anything, it makes me more relatable because haven't we all tried to eat healthy and then slip right back into our old habits?! I know I have anyway!

So let's back up a little bit so you can learn a little about my history and why I have taken this path in life. I grew up in a very small town in North Carolina, I had a pretty humble childhood (playing in dirt, had a few friends,  had a few pets) but I was pretty unhealthy! I honestly only remember drinking soda (I seriously don't ever remember drinking much water!) as a kid. Yikes! Not only that, I was a super picky eater and HATED vegetables. I did like fruit but I didn't eat too much of it (and I used to dip my strawberries in sugar!)

I also ate A LOT of processed and frozen/microwaved foods. (I had a lot of siblings so that was how my mom was able to keep us all fed while she was busy working.) So with all that being said, let's just say I wasn't the healthiest person in the world!

This is honestly almost a perfect picture of my childhood!

Many times I tried to go on a healthy diet, or be healthier in general, and it was always the same story. I would get really excited for about a week or two, and then I would start craving bad food or drinks and get lazy about exercising, and I would fall right back into my unhealthy routine!

It honestly wasn't until my son was BORN (yes, I admit, I was eating SUPER unhealthy during pregnancy. The thought of cooking made me nauseous so we ate out like 97% of the time) that i decided to not only eat better, but also lead a healthier life, free from chemicals and fake foods! Here my son was, this perfect little blank slate, and I knew I wanted to give him a better start in life than I had.
From there, everything changed! I knew I couldn't just give him healthy foods and still eat my Sour Patch Kids or potato chips every day. I had to be the EXAMPLE. I had to make a drastic change and force myself to try vegetables and healthier options. And thus began my journey!

I am so excited to share with you all that I am not only launching this blog to talk about everything natural and healthy with you, but I will be starting my Health Coach Course very soon and will earn my Health Coach Certification at the end, so that I can start changing the lives of many people and their families! I can't wait for this journey, I truly feel like God himself (or whatever you believe in) has called me to do this! So I truly hope you enjoy this blog, and I hope you receive lots of value from it as well!

Much Love,
Sarah
